Kids' Privacy Notice
Applies under the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the EU/UK "GDPR-K" provisions for children under 16.
Parents are always in charge
Only a verified adult can create a Yaze account. Child profiles have no login, no messaging, no browser, no ads. Every setting that affects a child is behind a parental gate.
What we collect from children
Only what's needed for the child to play and for the parent to see progress:
- A first name or nickname the parent enters (no last name).
- An age band (3–4, 5–6, or 7–8) — not a birthday.
- The Yazie avatar the parent picks with the child.
- Which levels the child played, stars earned, streak days.
What we never collect from children
- Real name (last name), address, phone, or email.
- Precise location, photos, or voice recordings.
- Advertising identifiers or behavioral tracking data.
- Any content that could identify the child outside Yaze.
No third-party ads. Ever.
Yaze does not display third-party ads to children and does not share children's data with ad networks or data brokers.
Parental rights
Parents can, at any time from Parent Zone → Privacy:
- Review all data collected on their child.
- Export the data as JSON.
- Delete a child profile and all associated data within 30 days.
- Delete the entire family account.
Verifiable parental consent
Yaze uses email-plus verification for account creation and requires a math-based parental gate before any purchase, subscription change, or data-deletion action.
